Wicked Whims official statement on his WW website. He has even made a statement on his website that makes it clear the accusations made by Discord user Lillium are false and a scare tactic from people that create highly questionable mods and were rejected by the Sims community.
He confirmed he has NO PART in the claims of these allegations made by Discord user Lillium. The Sims Circle article was brought to TurboDrivers attention on his Discord where he addressed the rumor. This means, these modders allegedly will lose their coding, and any other data needed that allowed the mod to exist in the first place. With an error in the coding, the malware has been released to other files in The Sims 4 mods folders that can break not only your game, but your computer as well, to the point it will be unusable and a new one will be required. What is malware? By Googles definition, “ Malware is a catch-all term for any type of malicious software, regardless of how it works, its intent, or how it’s distributed.” There are four kinds of malware. Virus is the first type. By Googles definition, “ Viruses are designed to damage the target computer or device by corrupting data, reformatting your hard disk, or completely shutting down your system.” So it seems allegedly, TurboDriver was trying to release a virus to these modders files to completely shut down their system. However, allegedly, there was errors in the coding that caused the malware to affect other aspects of the game and other mods. TurboDrivers alleged intentions were to hack and shut down the mod files that were running the b*stiality, pedophilia, rape, incest and inappropriate minor content mods.
On Saturday, March 20th a discord user that goes by Lillium made a post in a server informing users of Wicked Whims that TurboDriver’s last update may cause issues and has the possibility to fry your computer.
